It's difficult for the Australian squad to achieve unprecedented feats.

The highest peaks have already been conquered.

We're talking about the team that has secured seven Cricket World Cups, in addition to another six T20 titles, and earlier maintained over three years undefeated in 50-over cricket.

The alternative records, targeted by the peak baggers, are what's still available for a team that has achieved everything.

The fact it required as late as Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to complete their first ODI chase over 300, regaining their record for the biggest in the women's 50-over format, is, honestly, a tribute to the bowling attack that have worn canary yellow over the last half-century.

It's challenging for their batsmen to possess a record if never given the possibility.

Ultimately, the outcome of Australia allowing 330 runs was skipper Alyssa Healy receiving a chance to create her newest gem.

"The possibility to play and lock in a contest with her and just have a bit of fun that way, somewhat inspired me," commented Healy.

She reached fifty in 35 balls - her swiftest at the World Cup - and her hundred in 84 deliveries while she punished short deliveries, scoring 21 fours and three maximums.

When she was removed Australia needed 66 more at run per delivery - a manageable total now demanding an easy conclusion.

"To chase 330 is uncharted waters so I'm happy we have the confidence to achieve that now," stated Healy further.

"Ideally we won't need to do it again but, should it happen, we believe we can do it."

That comment will be the ultimate thing Australia's opponents at this World Cup want to hear.

Over the past five days a feeling they will triumph from any situation has only strengthened - this triumph following victory over Pakistan by 107 run margin despite being 76-7 at one stage.

Next Australia play Bangladesh before a match against traditional opponents England in Indore in ten days, by which point a last-four spot may probably be guaranteed.

It was at that stage they left last year's T20 World Cup in a shock defeat by South Africa - an encounter Healy couldn't play because of ruptured tissue in her foot as she led her country for the inaugural occasion at a significant event.

Such is her determination, she afterwards commented she wanted to have participated with the discomfort.

Yet even as she later admitted those injuries have pushed back consideration of ending her career, this championship is anticipated as her final tournament as skipper in ODI cricket and she is still to achieve a global event as captain.

Success in India would take her to the summit of her final mountain.
